Spring Road Trip Begins

We have been parked on the ranch for a couple weeks, watching spring approach as these hills turn bright green before our eyes. Our plan is to head east towards Tennessee to visit my parents whom I have not seen in almost two years. Carlos who is also beginning a new chapter in his career needed to tie up some loose ends which had us postponing our trip by a couple weeks.

As we waited for the end of the month to approach everything in our future was uncertain. This full time RV adventure was possible with me no longer working, and Carlos being able to WFH was now unclear as things began to open around the country. He now needed to be “in person” to record the cooking videos for his corporate job, which meant a two hour commute once a week. It was a time we had both been dreading, knowing he was feeling unfulfilled and unhappy with what this corporate chef life required. Faith and timing is everything, we knew with faith the right opportunities would present themselves when the time was right. The day we left the ranch Carlos signed an offer letter and quit his job!! Our next chapter will be full of more travel adventures and opportunities to learn working with incredible people, doing what we love!!

Well, with all that ahead of us we have over a month before needing to be back on the ranch. Time to start traveling, seeing as many national parks and things off the beaten path along the way….
