26 Jan Cooking Essentials 2021

Okay, since we are new to this rv lifestyle pretty much daily we are learning something new! It may seem like too much work or frustrating (which sometimes it is) but I think this is also one of my favorite things about living in an rv. Just when you think you got it, something breaks and you learn how to fix it, or you find something that is perfect for your tiny living space and makes all the difference giving you a sense of “yay me, look at that!”

When we packed our lives into boxes and got rid of everything in between, we were completely clueless. As chefs we certainly struggled with what should stay with us, and what should go into storage. It takes a lifetime to acquire the kitchen tools and gadgets we edited our lives in every way except this area. Knowing that someday we would need the cooking equipment, and I was never going to let go of all those cookie cutters it took me years to collect!

We have begun to create a list and link the items here on the website. We will update this list monthly as we travel and continue to learn more about what works and what doesn’t. There are also items listed here you may better be described as items we just love having with us. There have already been a few items that we have ditched along the way, as they’ve proved themselves useless or started to come apart. Reach out to us if you have any questions!
