Angel Fire RV Resort

Angel Fire RV Resort

This was a nail biter of a drive, don’t do this at night. (which of course we did) From hwy 40 taking the 25 up to Angel Fire in the winter months is an edge of your seat experience when pulling an RV through the snow for the first time. I’m looking forward to coming back through this area when the driving conditions are kinder, this spring.

This area is stunning, I had only experienced New Mexico over the years via the 40 just passing through. We could not participate in the endless outdoor activities on this trip, but as I mentioned we plan to return this spring to do as much as possible.

However when we stayed at the Angel Fire Resort we were truly impressed. With the country reopened this will be a resort you may not want to leave or need to for that matter!  Everything you could want or need is right on property, anything else you might want and all the outdoor activities are a short distance away.  All of the sites are level and paved. We were happy to see they were cleared and dry for us when we arrived. The entire area looked like a winter wonderland when we woke and opened the door. A worthy detour if you are nearby.
